The Top 100 Songs You've (Probably) Never Heard - 2008

All Night Long
Simon Mathew
Denmark
Instantly catchy and mostly harmless, “All Night Long” has the misfortune, as a friend of mine has observed, of sounding remarkably like it could be a commercial jingle. If this is the case, it’s certainly not advertising antiperspirant. (See the live performance) Nonetheless, it’s still a fun, innocent pop song that could find moderate success on the charts.

You know, with all those shots of him in his car, and the whole "gambling with bad guys" thing, and the "carpe diem" undertones of his song, I *honestly* expected him to get in a fatal car accident at the end. Brake lines cut, or something.
Maybe it was just wishful thinking induced by an overdose of newsboy hat.
We should be so lucky.
