Originally, I was going to write about the syntactically tangled lyrics, but then, I watched the official music video. Clearly, this song was built for bizarre choreography. Never before have I seen ‘the lawnmower’, Russian Army-esque marching, and something I’m christening ‘the telescope’ so seamlessly integrated into a three minute pop routine. I probably shouldn’t be too hard on the dancers; I bet it’s very difficult to dance while simultaneously trying to avoid a slowly advancing purple line.
