The Top 100 Songs You've (Probably) Never Heard - 2008
#33
Partir et Revenir
Iva Frühlingová
Czech Republic
Sorry about the delay in posting but I’ve been recovering from last week’s season premiere of Lost. Speaking of being lost, I think poor Iva has forgotten she’s in the Czech Republic…where they speak Czech (and quite well, too).

Okay, I'm protesting this song's position on yout list. It's boring, off-key, and weak--why is it #33?
*starts making protest signs*
Firstly, I would like to say that I appreciate your comments and your feedback. The information you have provided will be used to create a better blog experience for all.
Now, to address your question:
1. There are very few songs in French this year so I was probably blinded by the desire to create a balanced listening experience for all.
2. As is the case with many songs, the recorded version is much better.
3. You just described half of the songs released last year. The ranking system takes mass appeal into account. Anyone who has watched late night TV could reasonably conclude that one does not need to be a great singer to have a hit song.
Thank you again for your opinion. I shall treasure it like a mother with a newspaper clipping about her son finishing in third place at the county science fair.
Please feel free to continue leaving comments, questions, or concerns. If you commented on older posts, I would not complain. Have a great day.

Ha ha ha ha.
Nice.
Okay, fair list-maker. You win.
